(Kitco News) – Gold prices are moderately up and trading near their session highs in late-morning dealings Monday. Bullish traders stepped in to buy the early price weakness, as the overall near-term technical posture for gold remains in favor of the bullish camp. A lower U.S. dollar index on this day is also supportive for the precious metals markets. June gold was last up $4.00 an ounce at $1,352.00.
